Code of the day: Convince yourself before you convince others

Listening to ... Eriko Imai - In the name of love

Sunday morning and it was suppose to be some family thing or such... But~ I choose to spend it at some ulu place far far away from home. Best part, I went to listen to some boring speech. And on top of that, some ‘salesman’ who doesn’t speak good mandarin conducted it. Overall it’s a pyramid form of selling. Basically they are selling everything and the branch I was at sell mainly health products such as "Lan Chao", "Spirulina" & some vitamin C which is 4 times more bio-available then other products. The speech they gave seems to make the products sounds like elixir. I was wondering to myself would people out there believe that and buy the products. One thing was if you don't wish to buy, you can work under the one promoting and try to sell to others but you will have to pay a small fee to be their member so that you can earn some points and that is where the money will comes in as its a commission based kind of work. So if no one wants to buy and just sign in to sell, who will be the consumer and where will the money come in? I personally believe that in order to convince my clients to buy a product, I myself must be convinced before I can convince others. But at present I am not very convinced. They are having more talks on these coming Tues and Thurs and its not going to be somewhere near my house. Considering whether to go or not... haiz. Like what my CSM always say,"Typical animal, typical human. You all ar, ai qi ai pi ai dua lar ni (Translation from Hokkien: Want cheap, want light, want big breast), don't know how to please you all ar". Its very not pleasing to the ears but if you think about it, quite true lar. Lazy me wants money but lazy to work. Find work want to find easy job. And don’t even want to attend some talks that will make me understand. Also don’t know what I want. Haha.
