Sunday Is Soccer Day

Today was a boring day. So bored I stayed home and read a few pages of my text. But yesterday was great. Sunday is Soccer day. Played soccer in the morning. Enjoyed myself so very much. Head in a goal I am satisfied with. The opponent totally did not put in a good fight. No fighting spirit, complain about the sun, no tactics. For god sake, they are playing soccer! Not billiard or bowling. This is a team game, not played in an air-con room and definitely need you to sweat it out... I don't like to play against such a team but hack it. I am on the winning team! Some good passing, some great goals and lots of fun!
After all the soccer, got home and check my mails. And guess what... I was 5 hours away from collecting my goodie bag, number tag and race chip. I was like so tired and lazy to move but I have to bring myself to Toa Payoh Safra Club to collect it. The thought of the train and bus rides rids off all my mood. Lucky for Waycherng who offered to give me a ride over there since he is making his way to Orchard with his girlfriend for shopping. I joined them to watch a game at Brewerkz. They were showing a game between Manchester United Football Club and Fulham Football Club. A series of 4 goals in a minute of 20 minutes. Simply the best!!! Result at the end of the game, 5-1. The best opening for MUFC out of many seasons. A pity Rooney and Scholes won't be playing in the next 3 games due to suspension after receiving red cards in a friendly game against Porto. But given the depth of the squad, MUFC should be able complete the job of winning without them.

Lessons will resume tomorrow morning at 10am. I hope I will be able to enjoy the lessons! Cheers to all who read my boring blog.
