It has been a rather boring lifestyle I am leading lately. Let’s start from last Saturday…
Can you believe I have school on Saturday?! Yes, why not? Definitely~ that will be the answer of some. But when was the last time I had classes?? My polytechnic days… Oh well~ I rushed to school after playing some soccer in the morning. It was a wet day the previous but still enjoyable. School was boring simply because I have a hard time catching what the lecturers was teaching and it’s a Saturday. Lesson ended at 5. Raquel, Calvin and me took a cab to City hall where I met up with my army mates. We chit chat our way to the ‘Cosafe Maid Café’ situated at CHIJMES.
I got this from some other website but this is pretty much the logo.

It was always rowdy when meeting up the guys. While enjoying the game of Liverpool vs. Watford, we took a couple of pictures with the ‘maid’ and some pictures of our food. I will post them up next time since I haven’t had a chance to receive it. The service was not too bad and the food was alright. I wasn’t the best I have tasted so far but I wouldn’t mind going a second time if any of you guys are giving me a treat. Haha… They got 3.5/5 stars from me.
Most of us departed after the meal, only leaving behind Zongda, Lixing and me. We made our way to Marina Square for a stroll and eventually ending up at the billiard centre for a short game. I haven’t had a game for ages and certainly I enjoyed it.
I didn’t spend Sunday well. We had a friendly game arranged against some champion team from Espzen but was eventually cancelled due to bad weather. I pretty much slacked through the whole day in the end…
It was back to school on Monday afternoon. Managerial Accounting seems tough and there were rumors stating that there was a 50% failure rate for this module. Now, I am scare~… I wasn’t feeling well somehow and thought it might be like the day of the month for me. I wanted to go for a swim but wasn’t disciplined enough. Excuses such as the water is dirty, I have no goggles, its boring to go alone, its going to rain and the list goes on. So, I ended up going home ready to hit the sack early. Just before I reached for my pillow, Cherng called and asked me to accompany him for a run. I was thinking, no swimming today, a run won’t kill… But guess what, the run almost killed me. Cherng was preparing for his race and so increased his running speed. I really did take my life away simply by just catching up. I regretted but it was basically too late.
I woke up with aches everywhere. And boring classes made it worst. Sleepy, aches, boring lectures. What’s another worse combination?
I got back from a run 2 hours ago. It was supposed to be a jog. Relaxing and at own pace. I didn’t really want to plan the route this time and left it to Kumar. He almost took me to a route of no return. We run along the road and end up at the expressway without knowing, since we were chatting on the way. It was pretty much too late when we realized it and carried on. The taxi horned, we kept alert at all times and I was cursing all the way. We made it safely but it was quite an unforgettable run. The only run I run on an expressway with cars besides the marathon. I really sweat it out, both inside and outside… Anyway time to sleep. Enjoy!
