To be the doctor or the patient? (Copyright of picture belongs to the original owner)

After watching the movie 21 at The Cathay, I concluded two things in life. And its not like I never know them before but the show did affirm me the facts. Firstly, you need to sacrifice one thing to achieve whatever you want, and they are not proportional. An orange sacrificed might not guarantee a cup of orange. It may give only a drop of orange or even none. But it could milk you cartons of orange supply for lifelong consumption. Anyway, you should get my point.

Secondly, the world out there is cruel. You are bound to lose out plenty if you are a greenhorn in the world. I basically like to call them chicks or noobs. Being too naïve kills.Anyway, back to the show. It’s a great show which almost met my expectation when I first came in contact with it. The flaw I found in the show could be the smooth sailing of it. Everything seems too easy with no obstacles. The dosages of humor involved were great. The cast were amazing with excellent choice of stars for each role. Pretty and hot babes everywhere in the show and Ben, the asian-kid and even Fisher were charming too. Based on a real life story, the plot was what interests me initially and it never fails to impress me throughout the show. I enjoyed the ending part where the bad guy gets punished. Clubs, Lambo, Babes and Dudes, Las Vegas!!! Catch it while it’s still on the big screen! 3.5/5 stars for me.

On my way home with Kumar, we were talking about some craps and was talking about choices of career and ambition. And I cracked a brainless joke. I mentioned that every man, by right, have only 2 ambition. The first ambition was created when one is young and naïve and the next when we are at the crossroad making choices on what they have to be in future. So I said, when you are young, you aspired to be a doctor and when you got older and more sensible, you know that it’s not possible for you anymore and proceed on to be a patient.

And the brainless joke goes on to motivational speech to be conducted by me. Speech topic supposedly was how to lead an easy life and topic was to be the advantage of being a patient. Why work so hard to be a doctor when you can enjoy the luxury to be treated by a doctor and so on. And basically this is another form of motivational talk, the negative version. Anyone who attended my talk will achieve the reverse psychological to work damn hard to not be like me.
