I remembered I planned and wanted to work and study at the same time. Things just didn't turn out that right and should I be doing it now, I think I would not have been that free to enjoy whatever I have been doing. I mean, I wouldn't have been able to just slot in activities as often as they come.
Weekend was no longer the boring kind it used to be. Due to Singapore's birthday, there was no Saturday class and thus I had the chance to nua at home. I went out for a swim after Cherng jio me in the late morning. He did 40 laps so that he could train for his race while I having not swam for the longest of time did only 32. 8 laps slower then him which was pretty shameful. Went for a bit of suntan before retreating for some lunch. I was supposed to join Guangda and gang for KTV but was just too lazy to do it. So I did MR project at home till night time before going for two rounds.
Sunday was supposed to be damn fun with plenty of sweat but to great disappointment, the rain didn't make all happen. We arrived at Vivo for late breakfast at this hot dog shop at its basement before driving in. Lun mentioned something about this private residential in Sentosa and how cool it was. Thus, we drove in to take a look and seriously, IT WAS COOL! It didn't feel like it was Singapore inside there and there was this house by the lake which have a pretty big area to cover whatever you think you would want. Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, mini garden, a lot for your yacht and anything you want it, you can have it as long as you have the money. I heard it cost at least a couple of ten millions to get the land and have whatever you want constructed. I saw the designs and they really were impressive. If I were to have that kind of money in future, I might just buy one there to call my own chalet. Lol. Anyway, after visiting, it r-a-i-n-e-d! Heavily some more. So we played a while in the rain and after that went off for some food, nua, watched some bird park show before going off to eat again... Not too bad but the eating part is insane. At this rate, I need to go back to army days to lose away the fats...
I didn't know it was charity shield that very night where Manchester United go against Portsmouth. Basically it was due to my lack of reading the papers or even bother to know what was going on around my surrounding. And so Cherng called to ask if I was watching and I said why not after missing out football for a while. We went over to Brewerks for the game to watch this 0-0 game. The penalty taken by Portsmouth was shocking. It was no where near class. I bet S-league players do a better job then them. We had spicy seafood pizza and a jug of Ipa to go along. I'm no fan of pizza but pizza taste the best while hot. The cheese and fillings just melt in the mouth when you devour it. And no fork or knife please, use your bare hands to operate on it. Ipa was our usual and I feel its one of the best brew in the store. A glass once in a while was great. Did I mention that there was 2 bimbo spg-wannabe who came in while Man Utd was taking the penalty and just kept shouting as if they were soccer fans? No, I shall not bad mouth...
No school on Monday and yeah!!! Hurray!!! We had discussion in the early morning at Westmall coffee bean. Dang! I had a class of hot chocolate to ease a bit of the IPA I took last night and also a bit of celebration for reclaiming some market share in the Go-bust game I mentioned. (If you have been following...) And yeah, once again there was a change in topic to do for our project and sad to say, I feel the team was way behind time for the project. It really wasn't beyond control but I think it is about time to just take what comes along. I mean there are no prefect topics to handle. I just pray for no more changes. The team went over to Mat. Collection at Robertson Walk to do some situation analysis and find the furniture pretty exotic and cool with a great pricing to follow with. They are having some promotion now and things are going away with a discount. This was partly due to their relocating.
We went off to have cakes and pies at Nactarie to rest and as well as celebrate Calvin's birthday. Happy 26th Birthday! We chatted and gossiped before going off. It was my Mum's birthday the previous night and I promised a mini celebration for her. Basically she didn't like to dine out and so I got her some food from Soup Restaurant and a cake from Prima Deli. Anyway nothing great but just a little gesture to show my appreciation. Hope she liked and enjoyed it. I ate pretty full myself though and almost had them vomitted out after the run. Luckily I only had one round and at a slower pace...
