Happy Chinese New Year! Year of the Pig!
Finally a 2nd rotation for me, meaning the entire piggy born in the year 1983 will ‘fan tai shui’ once again. Apparently, the pig doesn’t seem to be favored during the Pig Year, but I believe we can still make the best out of it in this year. Cheers to all. Like my MSN nick, I would like to wish everyone a very

Anyway Zhang’s birthday was on 15th Feb and finally he is 24. We had a mini celebration at brewerkz for him. He should be considered a man with little achievements in life already. At least, he has a stable job/income, a cute girlfriend, a nice family, enjoying and fulfilling his life with his hobby as a singer and intending to further his studies soon. Most of us are seeking for one or another of these but it seems he possess all of them in the right amount. Let’s just look at some pictures taken that day.
The ladies that appeared on that very day.
The Birthday boy with the girls. Do I need to point out whose the star for the night?
How can we miss out the guys?! The hunks!
There were beers, food and more beers~
Mr. Nice Guy. Single and Available!!!
There wasn’t any class last Thursday and it was SIM sports day. I didn’t really know that because I only have the intention to go play some basketball. It was pretty much irritating as I thought the game was at NUS. So I made my way to SIM to await the bus which eventually brings me back to NTU which was less then a kilometer away from my house. Anyway, Rae and I played reserve for the 3 on 3 basketball and thanks to me, we got the 2nd! Sounds great right?! And its because of me, we didn’t get the 1st…. Haha.
One ball took the game away as I took a shot under the net in the 1st game with no one marking me. I am very sure the ball went into the net but I did not know which magician made the ball bounce out. The score keeper had flipped the score line to 7-6, I was on my way to celebration and almost everyone was sure that the ball went in for that moment. After a loud ‘aawwww’ from the spectators, the game continued and we lost the 1st set 7-6. We followed on with 2 wins (7-6, 7-6) and one walkover. So with 3 wins and a loss, we came in 2nd. Thanks to My Deciding Shot! Anyway, we even have medals! I couldn’t find any means to get the pictures we took that day. Hopefully, I can find them somewhere, somehow.

The medal, the 2nd medal! (Front and back view)
I watched Protégé last Friday. I wanted to watch it as it seems to be a show with great castings. Zhang Jing Chun looks delicious in the show. The plot was straightforward and casting was great. Some effects were great and to my liking and the content on drugs were great. Not a must-see but worth watching if you are in for a movie. I will give it a 3.8/5.0.
Go watch the show to know what they are looking at.
The dealer, spy and main character~ Wu Yan Zu.
