School started! Yes!!! And No!!! It’s exciting because it’s the last semester to go through before I can stop degree-ing and degree-ed. And no because it’s the last semester I can rule time and just do whatever I want at my own pace. That also means that its time for me to makes choices. What will be my career, what I would need to save up for and what are my expectation etc...
Dr Kate came over to lecture on Global Marketing and one of her rare interesting activities that got almost everyone in the lecture hall hyped up was a test on our geography. It's as simple as just pairing up the countries on the map with their names. It might sound too simple for many but definitely disastrous for many. It is through this test that I realize how ‘terok’ my geography was. It’s about time to pick up the map and start studying. Besides the pairing activity, the rest of her 3-day lecture was well dry.

It was supposed to look like this... (Picture taken from Swenson Website)

Celebration for Renfeng was held on Tuesday at PS. His 25th birthday was attended by Nicholas, Lydia, me and the birthday boy himself. We ate at the Swenson and personally, I wasn’t very impressed with the food. I ordered a crayfish pasta set and it was supposed to have a single crayfish, crabsticks and fish fillets in tangy tomato sauce. It might just be my luck that I got one crayfish with no meat! I gone through the whole thingy and reported nothing much chewable in my mouth. Utmost disappointing! And we thought that Renfeng could get a small slice of cake because it was his birthday at Swenson but apparently they said his birthday was one day overdue.
So no free cake for him and we had to get a cake from another shop on the 2nd storey. I mean what is a birthday celebration without a cake? I can’t recall the shop name where we got the cake but the cake pretty much fulfilled its job. A great piece of art I must say.
We proceed to Pool Fusion for a few games of pool and that was where we devour the cake. A few pictures for everyone and once again Happy Birthday Renfeng!
The heavenly cake we got for Renfeng~
He was supposed to be holding the 'Happy Birthday' sign but It just didn't appear.
Lydia and Renfeng in the house~
I did say the cake was good. Fantastic in fact...

We played a couple of doubles and lucky birthday boy had most wins.
I met up with Leslie and gang last night since we haven’t met each another for the longest of time. Leslie just got back from Estonia for a short break from his medical studies. The crowd that accompanied was Vernon, Heeling, Raymond Koh and me. We went around with no idea of what to eat only to land up at Curry Favor. It’s a Japanese restaurant with a decent ambience and very good food. The food was to my liking. A big serving without neglecting on its quality makes it a great place to dine in if you need a place to rest and relax while filling the empty stomach.
I got myself a Cheese Fish Curry チーズ白身魚フライカレー and Mango Smoothie and am very happy with my orders. Damn satisfying. I highly recommend food lovers to try it out at least once. You can flame me anyway you want after the initial trial. We shared three other side dishes which I conveniently swallowed without asking what we got.
We joked about Heeling having a 5k/month job with 7month bonus which in actual fact wasn't the case. And how Raymond was on the deen's list and basically an update on everyone's current situation. They are planning a tennis hit-about session and I'm looking forward to it!!!
Pardon my lousy phone camera...

Its on the Thursday papers... I wonder what are the other four designs.
Sidetracking plenty, I was reading the papers when I came across this advertisement where you get a free Olympic games coke glass with any upsized extra value meal by McDonald. There are five designs to be collected and this week’s design was Archery. Notice how the design of a man holding a bow resemblance the word 犬 which meant dog in Mandarin. How interesting…
