How I spent my 25th.

Its a day due my birthday and I would like to recap events that happened during the last few days. Not like a lot of stuff happened but still would like to show my appreciation I have for everyone who wished my good luck like the past few years I have done it.

Firstly, I would like to thank my army pals who organized a mini dinner gathering at Japanese Gourment Town located at Vivocity three days ago. This resturant is a combination of 3 famous brand namely, Botejyu from Osaka, Yoshimi from Hokkaido, and Ajisen from Kyushu. Its just widen the variety of choices of the store and I consider that value added.

01) Moonlight Special Okos (Consist of Pork, Squid & Prawn. Topped with a sunshine Egg)

02) Mochi & Cheese Okos (Okonomi-Yaki with Pork, Mochi Rice Cake and Cheese)

03) Mixed Modan-Yaki (Squid, Prawn, Octopus & Scallop)

04) Nan-Katsu Ramen (Tenderous Rib Noodles)

05) Hokkaido Scallop Ramen (Scallop Noodles)

06) Ramen with Corn (Corn Noodles)

07) Miso Cha Shu Ramen (Cha Shu Noodles)

Might have missed out stuff or remembered wrong stuff but thats roughly what we devoured... Seriously a filling meal and the food was not too bad. Decent enough to be consumed but not an excellent japanese resturant in my opininon. 3/5 stars.

Birthday eve was a decent meal with my parents and Sylvia. I got to order whatever I want to eat on that day. Order in a sense that my mother cooks them and boy was it good. It would have been great if my mother didn't add in extra stuff but still it was an enjoyable meal. My mom have the urge to add in many things into a dish to confuse the taste which I didn't like. But I seriously like the food very much. Love Mom the best~

On the actual day of birthday, I spent my time with Sylvia and we decided to not eat anything too expensive since we are both jobless and she got an ulcer and an awful pain on her left cheek. So we settled for some soupy stuff at Thai Express located at Jurong Point. Both of us reckon that the food was good and seriously didn’t expect it to be that well served. You really need to try it to love it. And try the one at Jurong Point. 4.5/5 stars

We had the following:

1) Poo Phat Pong Kari or Curried soft-shell crab with eggs and onions (Soft shell Crab with curry sauce splashed on top of it) ****
2) Woon Sen Kaeng Jeui Luk Ngaw or Chicken Tang Hoon Balls in Soup with Glass noodles (Chicken Tang Hoon balls in their famous chicken egg broth with glass noodles) *****
3) Thai Express Red Bean Dessert (Coconut ice-cream topped with red bean paste and sweetened coconut milk) ****

I went for a hair cut after the meal since I have wanted to get rid of the mess on my head for the longest of time. Wanted to settle for Chapter 2 since they were having a promotion but I need to make an appointment before that and I didn't really like to wait that long for a haircut so I settled for QB house which I didn't really wanted to. My second time there and still they didn't wow me or anything. I don't think I will be settling for it unless am in a rush or anything.

After the cut, I accompany dear for my gift she wanted to buy me. Its a Braun Buffel wallet and I really love it very much. Will be with me for the next few years at least. I finally have it replaced with my old one. I know my dear will love the idea of the replacement. Looks like my wallet will be lighter then ever during June.

That's really about all that happened these few days and I would seriously like to thank the following guys. In no particular order expect the first two, everyone are as important to me as my life. Without you guys, life won't be the same.

1) My Mother and family for the spread they prepared for me on my birthday eve. I seriously had a fantastic meal. Nothing beats home cook food. And my dear Sis who sent me an SMS to wish me a happy birthday. :)
2) Dear Sylvia for making this 1/4 of a century birthday a memorable one. The treat, the gift and the time spent on it could be felt. Love ya~
3) My army friends, Heeling, Raymond Koh, Vernon and Sze Tho who made the effort, time and patience to attend our mini gathering to celebrate for me. We haven't know for 10 of years but our friendship will last I assure.
4) Tracy who sent me the earliest of sms to me which totally took me by surprise. Thanks for the wishing my project mate.
5) Litong for his friendster message when he is still overseas and Zegui for his msn greetings. Really glad you guys still remember it. Loke donno forgot anot! Deeply touched. Our 10 years friendship anniversity will be approaching in no time. Cheers!
6) Kumar for his "'O' unholy one... May your dark forces wreck havoc upon this earth for eons to come". You have been a great pal. Waycherng for remembering my Birthday Every Single Year! Either on the right day or wrong day. May we hit our marathon goals this incoming year! And Tanny too for wishing me happy birthday. Much appreciated.

Nothing said could replace the feeling and warmth you guys have given me not only this special day but my life. I would sincerely wish you guys the greatest of health and happiness in life. Thanks alot for the wishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
